Magnitude 5.6 earthquake strikes off the coast of Western Australia, no threat of a tsunami

A magnitude 5.6 earthquake struck 203 kilometres north-west of Carnarvon in the state’s north-west on Sunday night, according to the US Geological Survey. The quake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometres and struck at 10.26pm local time.
