On November 21st, 2006 twenty armed officers from the Ministry of Natural Resources raided organic dairy farmer Michael Schmidt's farm. He was charged with 20 criminal offences for selling and distributing unpasteurized milk. The Documentary Milk War follows his battle to legalize the sale of raw milk in Canada. A fight Schmidt believes is fundamentally about the freedom to choose what one put in their body.

CLARKSTON, Ga. Steven Miller - An American farmer has been fined 5000 dollars for growing vegetables on his own farmland. Steve Miller says he has been growing broccoli, cabbages and other crops for 15 years. He says he sells some produce at farmers markets and gives some away.
